Route to PAGOSはレーベル　R.L.Cruisin'より発表されたサウンドチームRooftop O.S.T.(Cedar law$,9incy,kosy)のプロジェクト。

この作品は主にsampling musicではあるものの、その音の質と構成において既存のサウンドに当てはまらない印象を聴く者に与え、明瞭な音の輪郭はmachine loopと演奏の境界線を曖昧にする。

Ceder Law$と9incyは互いの感覚と方法、知恵を厳しく擦り合わせ独自の音の深みを生み出し、kosyのkeyboardがそれを彩る。
空間に鳴り響くvibe,keyboard,horn,synthetic soundは名だたるrare grooveの奏者、例えばLonnie Liston SmithやCharles Earlandのようなプレーヤーが目指した宇宙をイメージさせる。vintage soulの哀感や昂揚を表現し、ridingのためのsmoothな夜の音を思わせる楽曲が並ぶ。

この珠玉の作品をリリースし、3人はさらなる制作、創造の自由を求め孤島を目指す。これはその指針となるような音楽である。


Route to PAGOS is a project from Rooftop O.S.T. (Cedar Law$, 9incy, and kosy), released through R.L. Cruisin' labels.

Although this work is mainly sampling music, the quality and structure of the sound gives the listener an impression that does not fit into any existing sound, and the clear contours of the sound blur the line between machine loops and performances.

Ceder Law$ and 9incy have created their own unique depth of sound by strictly combining their senses, methods, and wisdom, and kosy's keyboard adds color to the sound.
The vibe, keyboard, horns, and synthetic sounds echoing in the space evoke the universe that players such as Lonnie Liston Smith and Charles Earland, renowned rare groove players, have strived for. The songs express the sorrow and exuberance of vintage soul and evoke the sounds of a smooth nighttime for riding.
With the release of this gem of a work, the three members are now heading off to a solitary island in search of even greater creative freedom. This is the music that will guide them in their quest.
